Our Lady of Sorrows, New Hampshire Resistance November 2014 issue #1
The True Catholic faith is under attack in all forms we see it on TV, hear it in today’s music, etc. I’m not saying anything new or anything you all probably didn’t already know, but I wanted to do something and this is what I came up with; a little newsletter to try to stay connected with others who share the same love for the truth.
My name is Tammy Johnson, and I am hoping with your help we can get this circulated to others who don’t have Mass every week are isolated or just want to read and follow along as a group monthly projects and share ideas or traditions handed down through the church. So please forward this to your resistance friends and family and if it is God’s will, they will email me and be added to my email list and hopefully we can become an online parish, sort of speak to pray for one another, to support the priests, etc. I don’t know how it will all work yet but with your help and ideas I think it is doable!
November is the month of the Holy Souls, we are asking everyone to send a list of names of family members or friends to be prayed for to; Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 1730 North Stillwell Rd., Boston Kentucky 40107 with your donations for the Masses.
Novena Christmas cards are also being offered for $5.00 each. Each card will receive a Novena of Masses from December 17 until Christmas Day. Requests are per intention, i.e.; Jane Smith, recovery; Mr. Alan Smith and family, conversion. Etc.
Request for Novena Christmas Cards can be made to me at firstname.lastname@example.org But please hurry with your requests so your Christmas Novena cards can get back to you for the beginning of December.
*This would be a Pious Practice for November for the holy souls if you could take the time every day to offer them even one of the following prayers, but please try to say them all when you can.
Pious Invocations for the Holy Souls in Purgatory
From the From the Holy Bible:
“It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from their sins.”
(2 Machabees 12:46)
Please add after each invocation the ejaculation: My Jesus Mercy!
O Lord Jesus, by the precious Blood which Thou didst shed in the Garden of Olives, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that is most abandoned. Place it today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the precious Blood Thou didst shed during Thy scourging, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that did most good during life. Place it today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the precious Blood Thou didst shed during Thy crowning with thorns, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that was most devoted to the Blessed Virgin. Place it today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the precious Blood which Thou didst shed in the carrying of Thy Cross, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that is suffering because of my bad example. Place it today in heaven that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the merits of the chalice of Thy precious Blood which Thou didst present to Thine Apostles at the last supper, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that is most devoted to the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. Place it today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the merits of the precious Blood which flowed from Thy Sacred wounds, deign to help and release the souls in Purgatory, particularly the souls of those to whose care Thou didst confide me on earth. Place them today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother they may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the merits of the precious Blood which flowed from Thy Sacred Heart, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the souls that did most to propagate devotion to Thy Blessed Heart. Place it today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen.
O Lord Jesus, by the merits of Thy holy resignation on the cross, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that hath most to suffer through me. Place it today in heaven that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother it may praise Thee forever. Amen. O Lord Jesus, by the merits of the tears shed by the Blessed Virgin at the foot of Thy cross, deign to help and release the souls in purgatory, particularly the soul that is dearest to Thee. Place it today in heaven, that united with the Angels and Thy Blessed Mother, it may praise Thee forever.
Let us pray
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of Thy servants departed, the remission of all their sins, that through pious supplications they may obtain that pardon which they have always desired; who livest and reignest with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.
May they rest in peace. Amen.

“I do not love?”
How do thee say, “I do not love”? Does the owner of the home gleefully accept the thief? Does the parent not scream at the sight of the child headed toward the busy highway….so why do you believe? That we, true Catholics, holding onto Tradition who defend Truth and all that is taught infallibly are not, as you say, charitable?
And the answer I reply:
Is because the modernist does not think he is the thief nor the child headed down hell’s own street…
And then you teach ‘I am not in the Church”…yet I am
Remaining at a distance because one cannot commune with heresy
Therefore, how does one convince the soul “who cannot clearly see?”
And the answer I shall reply: Get on thy knees and pray the holy rosary!
(Copied from Tradcatknight) Blessed be God!
It is still October and the month of the most Holy Rosary, so I feel it would be very ungrateful to the Mother of God (and ours) not to give the honor of sharing this link with you in this our first issue.
(Thank you Tina for the link)
On the Large Metal: Oh God come to my assistance, Oh Lord make haste to help me…Glory be…
On the first small metal meditate on the first dolor and say Our Father….
On each of the following seven beads say Hail Mary…..
On the chain before second metal say, My Mother share thy grief with me and let me bear thee company to share thy Jesus grief with Thee.
Move to the second medal and meditate on the second dolor and repeat the above instructions.
Conclude with three Hail Mary’s (last three beads) in honor of the Blessed Virgin’s tears shed in her dolors.
On the large medal the Memorare*
1. The prophecy of Simeon. (St. Luke 2: 34, 35)
2. The flight into Egypt. (St. Matthew 2:13-14)
3. The loss of the Child Jesus in the temple. (St. Luke 3: 43-45)
4. The meeting of Jesus and Mary on the Way of the Cross.
5. The Crucifixion.
6. The taking down of the Body of Jesus from the Cross.
7. The burial of Jesus.
THE SEVEN GRACES:
1. I will grant peace to their families.
2. They will be enlightened about the divine mysteries.
3. I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.
4. I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.
5. I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.
6. I will visibly help them at the moment of their death, they will see the face of their Mother.
7. I have obtained from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy.

This will be the end of my first attempt to create a network of families and friends of the resistance. I am hoping we can all make new friends and connections so we feel more a part of what we are really doing here, staying true to our God and our King, Jesus Christ. I love you all and I don’t know a 10th of you! Lol
Email me with suggestions or ideas to network with each other and to get clearer on the goals of God and to help each other grow as Children of Christ.
I had one idea to start this going maybe, no one is reading any more, or if we do we are all reading different things and getting confused (or at least me, I am a fairly simple person!) so I thought of a kind of internet/email book club. We could pick a book out of 2 or 3 choices and read 1 or 2 chapters and group email each other our thoughts or questions on the text? We could start with the Ach Bishops smaller works, and go onto the saint?
Looking for any ideas to network with true faithful please pray that this is of God and not me, and we shall pray for a good harvest. Blessed be God!
*Memorare: Remember most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it know that anyone who fled to thy protection, or sought thy intersection was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, Oh virgin of virgins, my Mother! To thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
