Our Lady of Mt. Carmel eNewsletter #1

Priests, Seminarians, Brothers Postulants on occasion of Consecration to Immaculate Heart and taking of Cassock ceremony Feb 2nd, 2019

Feb. 20, 2019        OLMC Newsletter #I

Dear Friends and Benefactors,

There is much to do in building up the kingdom of Christ as our founder Archbishop Lefebvre commanded when he established the Society of St. Pius X.  He stated:

We have to build, while the others are demolishing. The crumbled citadels have to be rebuilt, the bastions of Faith have to be reconstructed; firstly the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass of all times, which forms saints; then our chapels, monasteries, our large families, our enterprises faithful to the social politics of the Church, our politicians determined to make the politics of Jesus Christ – this is a whole fiber of Christian social life, Christian customs, Christian reflexes, which we have to restore.”

Hence, we have made the resolution to send out an at least bi-weekly email Newsletter from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seminary in order to help build up and nourish the Faith via sermons, catechisms, and writings. These newsletters will be part of our apostolate which at present includes close to 50 Mass centers scattered throughout the world, a Seminary and fledgling Convent. This marks email Newsletter issue #1.

We are not here to condemn enemies. Rather, we are here to convert them. Errors and heresies must be condemned clearly and boldly, but the weak souls who hold these errors need to amend their errors and come to the Truth with charity. The world is becoming even more wicked and “diabolic” – meaning “divided.” We need unity, but this unity can only be found in the unity of the one whole complete Faith and the Charity of Christ with the great hope of eternal reward in heaven together with all the saints in the Church Triumphant.

False unions, such as union with modernist, unconverted, and unconverting Rome, false union of Truth with error, or a false union of persons only against a common enemy as the union between Pilate and Herod on Good Friday are only at best superficial unions. These superficial unions are always temporary, and they are always most harmful to the souls involved.  Let our unity be in the three principles of the supernatural life: faith, hope and charity. The errors and heresies of Vatican II, its modernism, the liberalism of the modern world, as well as the false answers against the modern world of the so called conservative movement such as those of the neo-SSPX or the sedevacantists, are not the answers to sin that our ancestors in the Faith held. Hence, they are not the answers of Christ. Solomon was right when he by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost declared “Nothing under the sun is new, neither is any man able to say: Behold this is new: for it hath already gone before in the ages that were before us.” (Ecc 1:10) The Gospel, whole and entire, is still the answer to every heresy, error, and sin.  The Catholic vision is the supernatural vision which we must instill in our hearts. “Principalities and powers and the lord of darkness” are the rulers of this wicked world preparing for the coming of the Anti-Christ. The supernatural true Faith, held, taught, and believed as in the ages of the Faith, is THE answer to the modern world and THE way to happiness eternal in heaven and THE happiness a “hundred fold” here on earth.

As of February 2nd, 2019 Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Seminary, and Convent now has a total of 20 members in cassock or habit. We have all made a special consecration to our most Immaculate Mother, begging her most wonderful protection and guidance. We encourage each of you that wish, to unite with us in this consecration included in a link with this email.

Our new sister postulants will help handle updating our chapel contact information and lists which are in great need of updating. Please reply to the general email below ( ) with your phone number, contact information, and what major city you are near as well.
